Default Light breathable tennis shoes?

I am looking for tennis shoes that have minimum insulation and maximum air flow.
The majority of shoes I have looked at are 'sneakers', which are too warm for me to wear.
I have purchased canvas tennis shoes from amazon (by rocketdog), but my feet still get hot in them, and apparently they don't cushion the legs much, as my tibia (big bone in bottom part of a leg) are killing me. I suspect the shoes I bought weren't much designed for 'tennis', although they did seem to have thicker soles than keds.

I am also a pretty heavy guy (240lb)

Any recommendations?

from personal experience the adidas feather is a very breathable shoe. i have found it too breathable; my feet actually get cold when i wear the shoes outside. however, they are a horribly uncomfortable shoe and i would never wear them near a tennis court (i'm forced to wear them at work).

if you want light, breathable and comfortable then my personal recommendation would be pretty much any nike tennis shoe

I love my Asics Gel Resolution II's. Comfort wise they're great, and my feet rarely get blisters like I used to in Nike's. Only problem is durability, but it's a price I'm willing to pay.

Bought a pair myself recently and it's the best investment I've made this year.

Immediately felt like they were moulded to feet and I'm skipping round the court like Federer now. Can't beat that feeling of having complete faith in your footwork.
