Javier Frana was a VG player, he reach #30 ranking but he was born in 1966.
This thread doesn't consider him as there are no top 100 in 1973 so we cannot count players older than 1974.

The USA had a 17+ year streak from 1958-1974, you can probably go back even further if you look hard enough.

Ram and Evans may well reach the top 100 at some point but I don't think there is anybody from 1975 or 1980

Nah, he's been injured for a while. Used his PR to play USO qualies and lost 1 and 3 to Kukushkin. Only the second match he's played all year, and the first since AO qualies

For the French, until 1947 (before it gets too old because the ATP rankings started in 1973), I just miss 1951, 1955, 1961 and 1964 (if anybody could find the best Frenchman from 1951, 1955 or 1961, I would be interested )

If he got to 127, there's a slim chance he can enter the top 100 eventually.

in 1990 there are Eysseric and Rufin,

but 1989 looks poor so far (I guess the best one is Stéphane Piro who reached number 940) ... (generally speaking, 1989 generation looks poor for the whole world players so far)

... but there can still be one emerging later like some other ones (Boutter, Gicquel ...)
