I’ve never seen a tennis player – and I’ve met many athletes and champions from all professions throughout Tommy’s entire career – as a person and a complete athlete, Roger is so friendly, so cordial, so open with people. With zero arrogance. The hair on my arm is almost standing up right now. What I’m saying, in essence, it’s almost unbelievable that this type of person exists.
He’s such a pure, class act. In other words, he’s humble. Yet he does not need to be.

Methinks another check out is in the offing, with MAndy being in the same half. The best person to check out to ... why RAndy, of course. Am fine with whatever he does at Cincy. It would be too much to expect Roger to have the same zeal for every tournament. Moving forward, it's the slams that matter.

Andy Murray is world #2. Dear me. Hopefully Roger performs well enough over the next 4 weeks to keep Murray from #1. The only thing worse than a WTA situation where Murray gets to #1 without having a slam is Murray actually winning the US Open.

Such a tragedy indeed. A player with great return skills, variety, good movement, and a tennis brain, but not flashy and supposedly ugly (if you believe MTF beauty experts) might win the US Open.

Re: ***** CINCINATTI MS ***** Lets go Roger
Is it wrong that I'm totally not bothered by this tournament?
All I want is for Roger to get some time on court, time to train & practice, get a good rhythm & all that with the focus being on the US Open. If he goes out early I won't be too bothered & if he goes on to win the whole thing I'll be happy but again more concerned about the US Open rather than this one.

I don't care how much of a tennis brain he has, I find his game to be incredibly boring. Sorry but that's just how I feel. To me Murray is a very good counter puncher, but I've never been fans of counter punchers.

Good luck roger!
One match at a time, and frankly I don't care what happens. As long as PapaFed is happy.

Supposedly Murray is now #2..personally I don't like this because I don't care for Murray or his game.
Just my opinion.
Murray winning the US Open? For me that is a horrible nightmare.
Best of luck, Roger~~Most of all have a lot of fun.

Good luck Roger! Not really expecting a win here but it'd be a nice confidence booster before the US Open. Hopp!
