He lost 64 62. Next tournament he is entered for is a 15k Hardcourt Future in Harlingen, USA. He is also a long way down the alt lists for the Dallas and Salinas challengers that week. Odd that they are having a futures and challenger tournament in Texas during the same week.

Matt's having a good week in a 15k Polish clay future this week. In the first round he got by Pavel Filin 6-0 6-3 and then he beat the second seed David Goffin 7-5 6-2. Goffin's ranked just outside the top 200 although he is returning from a layoff so he wouldn't have been at his best but still a good win nonetheless for Matt. Yannick Mertens is Matt's quarter final opponent.

Matt string two consecutive wins together and advances to the QF round in the German Futures with a solid 63 64 win over the No.8 seed, German Jaan-Frederik Brunken. He faces the No.3 seed, another German Dennis Bloemke next.
Hope Matt can gobble up another "bratwurst".

Hey-ho, Matt sneaks past the German Bloemke, coming back from a set deficit, to snaffle the match 8-6 in the 3rd round. Plays Chilean Hans Podlipnik-Castillo, two years his senior in the semis. On current form Reid is a good chance to advance to the finals.
