But Nando hardly ever serves at full power for some reason. It looks so mediocre at times - he just wants the serve to go in. When he goes for it though and it hits its spots, I agree it's good.

Nando?
Was it not Ferrer he ways facing?
Either way both have head issue, Nando having much more of them.

did not see the match. movement is a dead give away for me. if he was not moving like he usally can then he possibly has little something that hindered him. so much of his game is based on his ability to fly around the court. he is really fast usually.

Indeed I can.
As you know, the most common surface in Spain is red clay. Now, the strongholds of tennis here are the East Coast and Madrid and surroundings. Most top players (all in the top 100?) come from those areas. Tennis clubs in the East have almost 100% clay courts. The few hard courts are mainly used in case the clay courts are under maintenance or full, and never for instruction or serious matches. BUT in Madrid and surroundings, for some reason, hard courts are more common. Clay is still the boss, but you can find kids being taught on hard, and hard courts are more easily seen in clubs. I believe that's why players from those areas (Verdasco, LaLo etc.) have a less clayish game style, including better serves on average.

Of course. This isn't black or white.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.
The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

On tight situations he sometimes hits DF. It's more a mental issue
