I have seen him yesterday live for the first time, to be honest I did not know him, but he convinced me most of all the qualifiers yesterday, sound technique and good attitude on court. He backed it up with a win today, but Karlovic will be tough.

Just a very bad draw. 2 spots were ideal, 2 spots were bad. He got the bad one. But never without a chance against Karlovic.

Ended up getting lucky with Karlovic picking up an injury during the tiebreak. Will play the winner of Chela vs Haas who are currently playing now.

Great week so far for the Bedene brothers with Andraz taking out the top seed Dusan Lojda 6/0 7/6 in a Croatian futures tournament on clay. Next up is the wildcard Mate Pavic.

Aljaz lost 6/4 4/6 1/6 to Haas. Had a few opportunities midway through the second set to take a stranglehold on the match but he could not do it. The stats seem to indicate Haas had no troubles taking care of his second serve in the second and third sets.

Aljaz has made ıt to the Quarters of the Loughbororugh Challenger after a 6-3 6-1 wın over Ivo Klec and then a 7-6 6-1 wın over Dan Evans. In a strange bıt of schedulıng none of Aljaz`s potentıal second round opponents have even played theır fırst round matches yet.

Lost to Cıpolla with a scoreline of 64 36 46. He got broken at 4-4 ın the thırd set and got broken wıth a double fault.

Aljaz has won his first round qualifying match in Melbourne at the Australian Open and today faces number seven seed from Slovakia Lukas Lacko. Ajaz seems to have lots of support in Australia and I see him as a good chance against Lukas. Good luck to Aljaz and all his Australian fans.

Despite being the slight outsider he took out the 6th seed Matteo Viola 6-4 6-2 in the first round of the Meknes Challenger. Next up is the Polish Qualifier Marcin Gawron.

Aljaz is into the final of the 30k Casablanca Challenger on the red dirt where he is the favourite to take the title. He plays Nico Devilder in the final. Along the way he beat Olaso 6-2 6-1, Menendez-Maceiras 7-5 6-3, Middelkoop 6-3 6-3 and then Andrey Kuznetsov 6-3 6-4.
