He lost 6-1 2-6 4-6 to Crivoi. Looks like the Davis Cup Group 1 tie against South Africa in Johannesburg will be his next match. If they can get past South Africa it will be the first time the Slovenian team has made the World Group playoff stage. The South African team will be without Anderson.
After some tough weeks Blaž is back in the winning circle with the title in Sao Paulo over Julio Silva. He beat some good challenger players.
Going to be jetlagged big time when he hits Belgrade.

Blaz got up over Hewitt in 4, it wasn't the best match but he fought hard and defending his points.

Blaž wins the Furth Challenger, his second for the year beating Stakhovsky in 3.

Funny video of Blaz canoeing and taking a long, long time to jump off a bridge. I can't understand Slovenian but the videos on his Youtube channel are hilarious. He seems like a cool guy.

Blaž had to withdraw from his semi final against Montanes. He played a lot and is very tired need to rest the body.
Will be at a career high at the end of this week, but there is still a lot of work to do.

Blaž somehow got a wildcard to London Olympics and he can't believe it either.
From the man himself.
Can you believe that?! Just arriving home after Wimbledon, saying OK, enough grass for one year... and then someone calls me to let me know that I received a WC for Olympics!?!? Crazy world, you never know what is gonna happen in the next moment

He plays Vardhan who like most Indian players enjoys playing on grass.

He played really well today and it was a fun match to watch. After it, I congratulated him on his win and took his picture which I will post on here when I get back home. He seems like a really nice guy and was on cloud 9 after his win. I know it's unlikely he will beat Ferrer tomorrow but today's match was a good experience for him. He was really pumped up and I've rarely seen anyone so happy after a match point. I've got tickets for Court1 tomorrow so I'll get to see him playa gain.
