I'm not sure what kind of circumstances he is in though, maybe it's time to move on and hire a coach other than his father before it's too late.

Did he do/say anything controversial? Besides the fact that he's coaching Andrey, I know nothing about him. What I was trying to say in my previous comment was maybe his father isn't competent enough for the job any more or he's in need of a shake-up.
