Re: Andrey Kuznetsov
has he actually gotten skinnier?
anyway he got drawn against victor crivoi in round 1..the other qualifier
definately the most winnable match for him and they are very close in the rankings so lets hope andrey gets the win
if he does its tipsarevic and zeballos in round 2
what do you think? i think he has a good shot at the win. The win over cipolla, and the way he had to fight should give him alot of confidence now and hopefully we'll see that.

his hair is a bit longer, obviously I don't think he's skinny, he just doesn't have much fat to cover up his growing muscles
Good luck to him in the next match

Re: Andrey Kuznetsov
I mean he doesn't look like a boy as much as he was.
Certainly that win means a lot for him and would give tons of confidence. But he was almost limping, so I just hope he gives everything he has and fights till the end.
Dropped his first serve at love. *1:3
Back on serve 3:3 4:3*

Re: Andrey Kuznetsov
6:6 Relatively comfortable hold from both
1:0* / 2:0* / *2:1 / *2:2 / 3:2* / 3:3*
*3:4 / DF *3:5 / 4:5* / 4:6* / 4:7 // 6-7(4)

Re: Andrey Kuznetsov
Both saved a BP at 1:1* / *1:2
While I'm typing this, Andrey broke him out of nowhere. *3:2
0:40, 30:40 3:3*

Re: Andrey Kuznetsov
*3:4 15:30, DF 15:40, 3:5*
Seems like nothing left in the tank now.
Had a chance to be back on 30:40, but couldn't convert it.
After saving several MPs, another BP... back to deuce
MP, deuce, MP. GSM. // 6-7, 3-6
Tough loss but still a great week.
Good luck in next tourney.

Andrey Kuznetsov: “I haven’t got enough experience for today’s match”
At the after-match press-conference the young player, defending champion of Junior Wimbledon, confessed that today he lacked experience in his match with Crivoi.
“Furthermore I had a dragged out match yesterday and I had to play in the morning today”, - Andrey said. “Frankly speaking I haven’t got any perfect shot but I’m regularly working on my technique”, - confessed the tennis player who is cooperating with the leading supervisors of the Russian State University of Physical education, Sports and Tourism headed by Anna Skorodumova.
According to Andrey he was inspired by the audience support. “I hope to show my best tennis next time, while I’ll try to play well in the doubles with Teimuraz Gabashvili”.

Re: Andrey Kuznetsov
I think i read somewhere that the Russians who didn't receive a wildcard for Kremlin are going to be the ones getting on for St. Petersburg, I assume that includes Andrey.

Re: Andrey Kuznetsov
hopefully, he's got 2nd round points to defend from last year and its a lot more likely he'll do it if he only has to worry about winning the one match instead of having to qualify too.

Re: Andrey Kuznetsov
well, looking at the possible qualifiers he should get past round 1 and youzhny might not even be there, he withdrew from the event this week and so he even if he is playing he might not be 100%
the draw is there for him to defend his points, lets hope he can do it
