I see where you are going with this, but you will not convert me to "Fedalism" 
Also one has to note that the Grass season is waaay to short to make too many remarks about which players are good on grass.
I know Wimbledon is THE top prize for grass tournaments, but the other grass tournaments before Wimbledon are quite fast.
It is quite stupid to have such a short season on a different surface.
Which may be one of the reasons the organizers slowed down the grass, to make it more competitive, fun to watch and to give players coming in form the clay season little excuse for not doing decent.
But I'm also quite the conspiracy theorist at times.

I think you're probably right. It's not a coincidence that it's the same guys always contending at every tournament and there are no more specialists. That's why I laugh now when I start hearing or reading about adjusting seedings.
Like, WHY !!!! They used to NEED to do that, not any more.
