Tomorow he will play against PANFIL,number 6 in this tournament, a polish lefhanded (Gianni likes lefhanded player, that's what he said at last RG about Rafa ). Hope that will be a good match ! |

Hye Dana, call me teem ! enjoy to see your post here but bad news today for Gianni : he lost !
I'm not a great soderling's fan but agree to be first a tennis fan. I like french players first reason cause I know them better ... second reason they are where they are not expecting and vice versa   . I've got a big respect for spaniers too.
I don't know the calendar of Gianni, and you ?

No, I don't know Gianni's calendar, it's so pity...
Anyway, semi is good for his first tournament in so long period...
I like Gianni cause I am really interesting in junior tennis so I noticed him long time ago. Then I was thrilled by his run last Junior RG, sad he lost in final, then I started track his career, game-by-game, and found it seems like he has a character and personality, main thing I love about players.
Of cource i couldn't say "I am fan!" before this RG - I was just someone who wanna look what is next - but i liked him very much when i saw his match against Nadal. He played fine. I was excited about his style!
Of course he was nervous, very nervous, but he wasn't hysterical, he didn't give up and he has these sparks in his eyes. Good.

Well, all what you say about Gianni is the same for me, since RG junior 2009, ... In interview he looks as a nice little guy, too cool, very cool, with respect and "humility" ...
