Roland-Garros 2009
Not too late for a RG thread.
The latest news in L'Equipe:
He doesn't spend much time in Roland to avoid the "buzz" as much as possible, only arrived at 4pm yesterday to practice and work a little bit with one of his many physios.
The good point is that with his kind of game he's not aching all over after a 5-setter.
He was the favourite in his two first matches (I don't think he was that clearly the favourite against Bolelli, frankly), but the next match against Haas will be a bit special. Fontang says that Haas still is a big name, former world number 2. On the other hand, Jim beat him in Delray Beach and they noticed a few things about his FH during that match. Haas needs time, so Jim's tactics will be to rush him off his feet on the FH side.
First match on Court 1! |

Really?  I thought they had already sent him back home since there are only matches on the main courts now!
Haasi is handsome too, he might be Jean-René's taste. |

Haas plays with much more variety and has no problem with Jerem's serve.
