thats why I like to watch Haas, he is from old school, sadly his head is his biggest problem

So nice to see Sampras looking healthy and well at Wimbledon - and even nicer to hear his gracious words for Federer. One of the most unlikeable aspects of Sampras' personality when he was playing was that he seldom ever gave praise to his opponents. This seems to have toned down since he retired - so much so that I think it's a valid criticism that he gave too much praise to Federer this time.

Laver was interviewed after Federer's win and he said that while Federer was great, he would probably give Sampras the edge over Federer on grass. I would have to agree with that. Whilst I think Federer is the better player overall, Sampras IMO will always be the better grass-courter. Sampras had to play on actual fast grass, not the joke stuff they have laid down nowadays, and against worthy grasscourt-specialist opponents. Federer has it much easier.
No player has ever come close to replicating the relentless machine Sampras was on grass. Sampras - the best grasscourter now, then, and most likely forever.

thanks for your kind words on Pete, may be champions like Pete and Roger have their own egos, they seldom give out praising as they think they are the best .

Yes, Sampras is the best grasscourter ever. I`m happy that he still leads (7:6) over Roger in Wimbledon titles

my friend's son who is 12, got an entrance to St. Paul's Boys' school in his 升中試, my friend is both happy and not happy, happy coz the school is a good one, unhappy coz the school fee is very expensive, more than HK$3,300 per month, so she lamented that she can only retire from work at 60

Wow, I don't know St. Paul's is that expensive!!!! It's not even an private school.

If I put my son in a prep school (9th-12th grade), it'll be around USD11,000 a year.

It's a Catholic school, thus totally private with government money. And the teacher/student ratio is about 1:12. But I may keep him in public school. I need to discuss with hubby and Jr. now after going thru the schools academic curriculum. The school is more expensive than the state University here

i think the most important thing to choose a school is whether the school has a good reputation and the teachers are good, even if the school fee is expensive, you may just work harder, good education is the most important thing for a young kid, its horrible and sad to see the low moral standard of many kids in HK, we have news almost every day about them taking drugs, some even are daring enough to do it openly in beaches, how foolish are these kids, if i were their parents, i may disown them
