phew, tough draw for Tommy I would say
1st round: he is facing Mario Ancic
, very capable opponent, maybe Tommy's advantage could be that Ancic didn't play since Wimbledon. Tommy has more match experience on hardcourt and he played good matches, won a tournament!
and the potential 2nd round opponent is not worse, it will be probably Andy (again). I think both guys don't like to match-up that early. Roddick can beat Haas, but also Roddick knows that Haas can beat him. Maybe an edge for Andy here because he won the last meeting on hardcourt just a few days ago quite convingincly (only at the beginning Haas was playing well and was even up a break early in the 1st set).
Still I wouldn't count out Tommy too soon, IMO he's still one of the kind of players who can beat Andy and have more chances than most other opponents.
not easy for Tommy....
