Robert Kendrick Sub-Forum Request
Robert Kendrick, currently ranked 85th, has really stepped up his play in the past 2 years. Robby is playing more ATP and Masters Series events this year, and showing sucess in them. Robby is a perfect guy that gets many fans, and is perfect for a USA Sub-Forum. Amer Delic, ranked 160, has a sub-forum and I find Robby a much better player and a more likeable player.

Re: Robert Kendrick Sub-Forum Request
I remember WI 2006?07? when he pushed Nadal. He deserves one
Some ideas for threads could be ranking watch, photos, videos, graphics, livescores, news/articles, off-topic thread, statistics, ...
I can't wait

Really? Everyone I know who's met him (and it's more than a few people) say he's one of the biggest jerks on the tour. And most of those same people have met Delic as well and I"d bet my house as to which one they would say is more "likable" but anyway...doesn't matter.
Anyway, his thread barely gets any activity now. So I'm not sure why you think a forum would get lots of activity, but if enough people support the idea, then i guess he deserves one

Re: Robert Kendrick Sub-Forum Request
Seriously, Kendrick is going to be 30 by the end of this year and he's a challenger level player most of his career. I really don't see any reason for creating a forum.

Oh really? Spadea maybe Reynolds is only players I could think of behind Robby?
Robby took Nadal to 5 sets at Wimby 06, has the ability to play in many ATP tourneys.
I would like to know who approved Amer Delic sub-forum. If RObby cant get one, no damn way Delic can get one. 85 ranking to 160. Kendrick sub-forum sells itself.

I find RObby a very funny and competitive fighter. I dont give how old anyone is, if they have a good ranking and are having good results, they deserve one. His ranking will go up this year, almost guarantee it.

It makes me frustrated to see people basing their vote off someones age. If anything, age should help. Robby has been a great, hard-nosed competitor over the years and his ranking has gone up. He is in a perfect position to move up at least 20 spots this year. he will stick around the tour for many more years and push his ranking into the top 40, 50.
But what does everyone care about, Amer Delic? Whos ranking is 160 and sub-forum is rarely used. Does he get it because he got to 3rd round in Aussie OPen, and STILL his sub-forum was mostly inactive? How can Robby (85th) not get one and Delic(160) get one. Delic's ranking has even plummeted since last year.

Also, if you are one of those American haters and would vote no for any American, please stay out if this.

Because Amer is a really nice guy. Seriously, he let me blab on and on and on forever about nothing and was smiling the whole time. Sweet guy.

Re: Robert Kendrick Sub-Forum Request
If it doesn't have anything to do with age, it doesn't have anything to do with ranking either. Amer has a solid core group of fans who supported his forum and proved his thread was active. Unfortunately, since Amer got his forum, a few of those people don't post at all on MTF anymore for unrelated reasons. Kendrick's current thread rarely has any activity.
BTW, I've never heard Kendrick referred to as Robby, does he really prefer to be called that?

Re: Robert Kendrick Sub-Forum Request
I got to talk to Robert in Houston. I work with his trainer Paul Pisani, so I thought that he would be extra nice to me. He was a huge jerk. He muttered yes after every thing I said and was totally bored. I never thought he would be this way, be he is so cocky.

Yes, this matches what everyone else I know who met him says. That's why I was so amused with the original post calling him "perfect" and "likable"

He turned pro in 2000. His yearend rankings from 2000 and onward are 343, 217, 175, 134, 160, 339, 87, 105, 97. That's the reason I drew the conclusion that he is a challenger level player.
The Robert Kendrick thread in USA forum has 53 posts since 2004.
Almost every players within the top 200 are great, hardnosed competitors because otherwise you won't survive there. So are we going to have a forum for every player within top 200?
Do I need to give more reasons that a forum is not a very good idea? And this has nothing to do with he's American or not?
