Re: Monte Carlo 2009
True, David played much better in the third. Served better, constructed the points better and took charge of the rallies. But I also thought that Granollers looked tired in the third. Running out of steam and ideas.
So is this it? Is this the first match David has turned around after being down a set (plus a break in this case) since Barcelona, last year?

Re: Monte Carlo 2009
I can't believe that they scheduled him tomorrow in court 2 at 10:30 (not televised). Fognini-Murray are going to be on Court Des Princes and that was such an awful first set today.

Yeah it sucks not being on a televised court.
The Fognini-Murray match wasn't that bad, but they did have a lot of very long rallies (then again I only watched the end of the set). That particular match started about 40 minutes later than all the other matches though, so maybe it could have been finished yesterday were it not for that delay. Then again, given how gruelling that match seemed to be, maybe it levels the playing field a bit that it wasn't completed.

Re: Monte Carlo 2009
I think with a match-up like this, against Davydenko (particularly since he hasn't played in a while), it will be very difficult to read into the scoreline whatever happens without watching. Unless if it ends up being very one-sided one way, then we can make a small assumption.

Re: Monte Carlo 2009
It is working for me. They are 3-3* with 4 breaks of serve already. David breaks Kolya rebreaks.

Re: Monte Carlo 2009
4-4* after wasting 3 game points and saving 2 break points.

Don't think it was 40:0, it was a mistake on the SB. First point of this game was a DF from David.

Looks like it's going to be a long long match, with every game going to deuce!
