I know this and I have gigabites of them but living them (rejoicing and suffering) live has onother taste, othe emotions...

BTW, internet prob seems to be sorted out.
I already suspected the telephone line from the router to the phone line socket was the true culprit. Apparently BOTH of the twoBRAND NEW wires Telfort sent me were ... malfunctioning. As I am a logical person, I maintained my stance that the wires were the main problem. I snatched a 20-year old wire out of my old telephone (which I knew was still fully working), fixed it into the router and guess what?
Suddenly the connection is working like the Sunshine.
Not holding my breath though. I'll keep a watch on it all weekend and wouldn't be surprised to see it coink out again at any moment.
