Nicofan!!! What a match!!! I watched the begining, went to church and thought I would miss the rest of it but thanks to the rain I saw the 3 and 4th set. When the rain delayed play again in the 5th I went swimming with the family and missed the end

(although Rafa won all his sets when I wasn't watching so its just as well I missed the end

) I do feel a bit bad for Roger-tough year for him-I fully expected him to defend his Wimbley title. There will be a lot of pressure on him for the USO now.

I turned it off too when it rained again in the 5th set!!! I was so stressed that I went out too and figured if it came back on, I couldn't handle it anyway!!!

But I got home in time to see right after he won.

I feel bad for Fed too.

of course that I didn't know the result since you know that I don't like Wimbledon at all but then I see these pics and my first thought was "you've to be f*cking kidding me!?!"

I still can't believe it! although I know this would happened sooner or later and the only thing that makes me happy about Nadal winning is that Djokovic is cursing and crying that he'd never get the no. 2 spot

and yes, I don't like anything related to Spain, maybe only Fer Verdasco

but like I'm not a fan of Federer either is just like nothing really happened

... now could both of them take a sabatical year please?

OK. So its summmer (in the nothern hemisphere anyway

)and Nico has not been doing so well but now is not the time to take leave of his forum! Nico's forum is within just over 800 posts to surpass Nalbandian's-we cannot give up now!!! Surely we can carry on some idle chatter to get to that number of posts.

So, speaking of Rafa, he just beat Gasquet to get in the semifinals of Toronto

To say he is having a good year is definalty an understatement. And who is this Giles Simon kid? He seemed to come out of nowhere! It is good to see the younger players doing so well
