Default The Shanghai Rolex Masters 2014 thread

So he has confirmed that he'll play in Shanghai, a decision I don't like, so I thought of making a thread now. Will post the draw when it comes out.

He better make enough points in Shanghai to skip Basel/Bercy. Big gamble nonetheless. Let's hope he makes it count.

Yes that would be a good trade off, but he has to defend 360 pts from Paris SF, and 300 from Basel Finals. He also has 90 pts to defend in Shanghai for last years Rnd 16 showing.

If he makes it to the final, he can afford points-wise to drop basel and bercy.

That depends on what the goal is.

If he wants #2 he should see what Nadal does in Beijing/Shanghai.

I hope he won't skip Basel and finally gain that trophy. He lost there two last finals, both with Del Potro.

pretty nice start to the tournament. Shame about Fed being in Nole's half, though. Kei/Dimitrov in QF's is more than decent, but I can't look beyond Novak for the title. There will be many chances for #2 before the end of the year. I don't think it will be here, though.
