Yes Rome on saturday. Today a short article in lequipe

Clement not so far is the title. According the journalist until 6-6 Arnaud was the best on court with still a percutant serve. Arnaud says that's pity he made few stupid errors and he says that it was tough for him on Davy's serve especially because of his big % of first serve (83% in first set). He says that Davydenko takes the ball faster than him and even if he plays deep against him he's not sure to gain time. Arno thinks that he play a quite good tennis on clay.

After his correct match against Ljubi he mad an awful one in MC so after 2 good here he should play badly in Rome lol

Arno is the first seed of Rome qualies. He draws Adrian first round and if he wins he should surely play Youzhny. A bit tough imo. Second match on court 6 tomorrow. No expectations i don't think he could get though lol

Little news about Belgrade Open, the come back of the dwarf team Devilder/Clement

Yes Youzhny one of the toughest players to play between seed 8 & 14 of that draw but anyway Arnaud did nothing with his nice draw in MC Arnaud has just been broken by love on the first game of the match

Set 1 Arnaud was broken by love in the first game of the match but broke back the game after. He broke Mickail a second time to lead *3-1 but was himself again broken. At 3-3 Arnaud had 3 GP but was broken yes again after a very long game. His really awful stats on second serve didn't help him to win his service games indeed. After another close game Arnaud lost the set 3-6. From *3-1 to 3-6 good job.
Set 2 Both held their serves until *3-4 and while in the first set Arnaud did well on Youzhny's serve it was more difficult during second set where he had no BP to finally lose the second set on the same score. After he was up *3-1 30-15 in first set he lost 11 games to win only 3

I don't know if he will stay some days in Rome hopping a LL spot but even the train don't change the thing. He wins sometimes matches against players lower ranked but no significativ win since ages. It remains only 2 tournaments on clay before RG

He's still in Rome and will watch Jo vs Richard tomorrow because he never see Jo on clay and wants to see him http://www.20minutes.fr/article/3225...uche-terre.php. At least he can find good sparring partner in Rome.

Maybe not a good idea to stay in Rome lol since it rains cats and dogs and according l'equipe he spend his day in the player lounge yesterday. It will not have a LL spot i'm sure better to train than wait

Are there other frenchies in belgrade ? I don't imagine arnaud lost alone in an unknown country... lol and still no coach with him, not very funny.

Default Re: Clay Season 2009

We have learned how to say Arnaud Clement in Serbian it's Arno Klemon The main draw is already out and Arno plays Darcis who are doing the semi in Ostrava this week after semi in Sofia last week. Someone fit and confident and clay is a good surface for Darcis.

(7) Arno Klemon (Francuska) - Stiv Darcis (Belgija)
kvalifikant - Markos Bagdatis (Kipar)
Brijan Dabul (Argetnina) - Nikolas Masu (Čile)
(2) Ivo Karlović (Hrvatska) - slobodan

or in english

Arnaud Clement (FRA,7) vs Steve Darcis (BEL)
Qualifier vs Marcos Baghdatis (CYP,WC)
Brian Dabul (ARG) vs Nicolas Massu (CHI)
Ivo Karlovic (CRO,2) bye
