Re: Tennis pros on twitter
Twitter is great, shame that only few of top ATP players (Andy & Andy and Soderling) are using it. WTA players are much more active as far as twitting. serena, venus, wozniacki, kuznecova, azarenaka are twetting a lot, they often support each other before and after the match, for example after serena - azarenka 1/4 final at ao they were giving each other compliments

Re: Tennis pros on twitter
Agassi - it isn't his publisher, it's from his office in Las Vegas.
He's not twittering about being in line at school to pick his kids (as Lance Armstrong twitters all the time - why does anyone want to know that?), but the twitter definitely is about what's going on with him in the public domain with the foundation etc. (Graf I don't think would go for any private life twittering whatsoever...)

Re: Tennis pros on twitter
This popped up on my Facebook account this morning:
In light of recent events (and for the sake of the innocent, compassionate souls already following and posting sympathetic retorts), it'd be nice to have this either debunked or confirmed.
I'd love to think this isn't the work of some low-life trying to take advantage of a genuine crisis to harvest sympathy that doesn't belong to them, but then again, I can't deny my cynical makeup, so until proven otherwise that's exactly what I'll think this is.

Twitter is great for discovering interesting articles that people share links to.
the celbrity update posts mostly seems pointless

Depends on your definition of good... you might want to start with this list and click around from there: http://twitter.com/justingimelstob/tennismedia/members
