The use of the term 'mug' here?
Basically it's used a generic term to describe a player one does not like, right?

Re: The use of the term 'mug' here?
It's just another British word that no one outside of the UK has ever heard of, understands, or uses. Just like those strange nicknames they give sportsmen.

Re: The use of the term 'mug' here?
People don't really use it that much over here that I know of. It may be a generational thing maybe but nobody I know uses it that much. I know of it in two senses as "To Mug"/ Rob a person or if somebody treats you badly, we might say, "they treat me like a mug." When I first joined MTF I did actually wonder where "Mug" had come from as it doesn't really fit into the context, well not as I how I know the word anyway. I wondered if it was an American thing?

Re: The use of the term 'mug' here?
Some people claim that MUG is German shorthand for "Mathieu Und Gasquet", though others say it's actually "Monfils Und Gulbis".

I fully agree. An utterly moronic idiotic unfunny troll wannabe, he isn't missed at all.
