An article about frenchies in NY. It deals with the problem to train when you're not a seed only 45 minutes that's why everbody try to train with a seed otherwise to have more time you have to train before 10 am. It also deals with the now famous restaurant they take their breakfast Au Bon Pain cos it's too expensive in the hotel. They reported about the match of Guez in qualies cheered by Clement - De Chaunac - Ouanna. It's very warm in NY since everybody is shirtless Jo trained with Ferrer - Gael is OK - Gilles have some rest.

Thanks for the scan, I liked the article too.
Yeah, only 45 minutes for the non-seeded players and they have to share the court with 3 other players! Paulo and A-Rod have been good friends since Roland, so no problem for PHM, he gets the best training slots with his new buddy (two hours on Arthur Ashe).

The FFT website is up, btw:

Is Laurent Raymond now Ouanna's coach? The article says Raymond (who was Montcourt's coach) is there with Ouanna and Recouderc, is it just for a training session?
Ouanna used to be coached by Potier, but there might have been some changes over the summer.

According last chronic of De Chaunac in Tennis Mag Potier was the coach of Marco et Josselin in LA at the end of july. Since i don't know. But the frenchies with their coachs For exemple what's happen with Peyre ? Mahut and Devilder has already leave Lagardere or not ? They're coachless ?

It was in l'equipe few days ago and it's on l'equipe.fr today Dominguez will be fired. In l'equipe they wrote that Hagelauer could replaced him.

What happened between them ? Dominguez has been in the zone for years. Not that I mind seeing new blood, but

It wouldn't be new blood if he is replaced by Hagelauer... Hagelauer did such a fantastic job as "directeur technique du Team Lagardère" where he was responsible for the whole coach-player mess, it sure deserves a promotion!

Maybe Dominguez is too much into the old "FFT/Lagardère war" thing for them now since the FFT really seems to try to overcome that, judging by a few things lately (Hagelauer being in talk for the DTN job, even the wild-card given to Llodra over two FFT guys would have been impossible one year ago imo)?
I have no idea either, it's just a guess.
Dominguez only says today in l'Equipe he wants to know what they reproach him with and he wants to stay, but I doubt he can.

It was too wide to make a screen capture

I listen the last minutes of Carrement Tennis this morning and they were saying that the ministary seems to not be OK for Hagelauer and they agree with the fact the decision could be "political" towards the creation of a new link between FFT and Lagardere. Emilie Loit also adds that Dominguez has bad relation-ships with the elite of the french tennis . We all remember what he said about Richard and i remember Llodra saying he should shut up. It must not help this bad relation with players.
If it's not Hagelauer maybe Pioline who is already at the FFT or Santoro I don't know who they will find

So it's official :

AP

It seems you were right, Fran, he's paying the war with Lagardère.
But about what you said, Soulage, it seems he was supported by Tsonga, Simon and Monfils

edit : according to http://fr.sports.yahoo.com/tennis/bl.../article/7735/
Noah might have had a hand in it, since he's close to Hagelauer (his ex-coach) and never liked Dominguez.

The french tennis and their stupid wars I'm sure Dominguez was liked by many players especially the youngest indeed but he has also many tensions with others players and for them it must be a good news.

Noah, Escude & Forget was against Dominguez and now Dominguez has nore the protection of Bimes. Many also thought he had too much activities tv, radio. Jean-Claude Massias is a name to replace him.
