A little tougher competetion, but ok for a 500 series event. Tommy crushed Querrey in Memphis 2007 (and also won the two other encounters with him), but then again, that was some hell of a Tommy. Guess we will know more about Tommy's condition after tonight's match against Andy ...

well at least from tonights defeat Tommy will get some rest. As you said a little tougher comp but I guess Tommy can get the quarters again easily.But enough of mine prejudge ,don't wanna invoke bad signs

We'll see,Tommy's fit again and then nothings impossible.

Tough draw imo, he should beat Querrey but I wouldn't underrate him. Then two dangerous players like Baghdatis or Nishikori. It's not that easy.

Yes, this draw is dangerous. He should beat Querrey but Baghdatis and Nishikori are not that easy. A possible rematch against Roddick in the quarters should be enough motivation but it's a hard way to go!

TBH it's rpetty tough to predict here. we no Tommy is in good shape (not the best ever, but pretty good), he should beat Querry, although Sam has improved a lot, it's not gonna be easy. Baghdatis's shape is a big question mark, he had injuries and he
s coming back now, don't know where he's standing now. Nishikori is young and talented, Tommy is better than him ofcourse, but the guy is very good.

Not a good draw at all IMHO. And with the way Andy handled Tommy in San Jose I'm afraid there is a big difference in Tommy's game now with the elbow trouble added on to all the shoulder problems

There are no elbow and shoulder problems at the moment.

I was shocked that after listing Tommy as having been given a W/C it was changed and the W/C was given to Donald Young

But, of course, Tommy got in off the Alt. List so it still worked out O.K. But Donald Young over Tommy

--no way that should have happened

Mae I guess you misunderstood that.Tommy was given a WC,yes,but no need for that as he entered directly.So Donald Young can be thankful to that. No way that they would choose Young over Tommy.

I guess the W/C was posted for Tommy before he got directly him. Leaving me with the impression it had been taken away from him when actually it turned out he didn't need it. I thought if they chose Donald over Tommy they were crazy

Sounds about right, given that not even the official Paystream is showing any Tennis from Memphis before Thursday.
