Rotterdam 09 - 1R - A.Seppi def T.De Bakker 6-7 6-2 7-6
Very tight match, seppi has been struggling for form but managed to dig this one out, im sure the fans gave bakker lots of support, as for Seppi could be the lift he needed to get going in 2009, should have been a lot easier but played poor on his break point opportunities

de Bakker didn't play bad. Very good serve. Glad Seppi won, though. Had a bit of vCash and Suicide Tennis riding on this. Well done Seppi.

De Bakker was serving for the first set 5-4 and in the next moment he found himself saving 3 set points at 5:6 0:40 
The point he took the set in the TB was hilarious. They were both at net and Seppi had it under control until last shot when De Bakker lobed him with pure lucky reflex motion.

You never know with Seppi. He can lose a set wasting triple setpoint against inexperienced De Bakker and win twice after saving match points against Hewitt  |

This de Bakker should be at least a top 50 player next year if he makes some progress which he didn't make last year.
