He started some stupid thread without proof in some Spanish players forums as well. But anyway I'm not that pissed becoz I've ignored him already.

Whenever a TROLL trolls in players' threads one s just ignore their stupid comments -- that's exactly what they want -- a fight, so if there isn't one they'll simply leave!

Kat posted this link in the El Germo thread of GM re: Perlas leaving

Perlas ficha por la academia de Ferrero
Eurosport - RAG - 24/01/06

http://www.eurosport.es/tenis/sport_sto818237.shtml

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS NEWS BECAUSE AFTER I FOUND OUT THAT PERLAS LEFT EL GERMO, I WAS THINKING THAT JUANQUI COULD USE HIM AT HIS ACADEMY!! HE HEARD ME!!! THIS COULD BE THE TURNING POINT FOR JUANQUI!!!

Oops, forgot to say that the article says as of today Perlas is joining Equelite as a coach w Cascales, to help Juanqui prepare... this is EXACTLY what Juanqui needs -- some major change! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a good thing!! A new, fresh perspective for Juan Carlos, but he still hasn't completely ditched Antonio, lol.

i really don't want him to ditch Antonio, they're friends and Antonio is JC's mentor. I think JC would be better off having more people around him to give him more advice

He's not ditching Antonio, he's just taking on a second and fresh perspective on his game and what he needs to do to be back at the top and winning titles and Slams again.

What JC needs is a tactical brain to help him go into matches with game plans. At the moment it seems like his strategy is to try to play the same way in every match.

I don't know anything about JC's new coach but I hope he tries to prepare him well for matches. He needs to think about his opponents more, not just himself.

It would be great if, at Wimbledon, someone told him to take more risks. Hit harder and aim for the lines more on grass than on clay.

Apropos of nothing...

I like the ATP tournament blog idea but it's limited to players who are fluent enough in English to write in English.

Why don't they have one on the Spanish ATP site? I'd love to see who's a good writer. Yes I can see it now: Gonzo blogs in Vina del Mar, Nalby and Guille in Buenos Aires, Gaston and Carlos in Acapulco, Juanqui in Valencia (now that would be interesting seeing as it's his tournament an' all), Rafa in Madrid, Marat could do both English and Spanish blogs (if he ever plays tennis again, that is ).

Carlos' Acapulco Blog:
Feb ?? not sure what day it is, but it's v hot so I will go to the beach today. Unfortunately, Flavia says I should hit some balls and spend more time on my blog, but I feel too lazy for all that just now...

I must leave you now because tomorrow my match starts so early...at 1pm so I have to wake up at 11am! Ay! How will I manage?

And what would JC's be?

"Umm...I'm too busy to write a whole lot, you know, because of all the pression I have going into my next match."

Valencia, eh? The blogs have given good luck to some of the players this year and a change of fortunes could really be the ticket for JC. Valencia would be a good place to end the drought - or continue the winning streak

Hi guys!!
Can anyone please tell me briefly about the news on Juanqui? Coz I really have no time to go through all the threads and my internet isn't working well. All I know from the thread titles is that Juanqui found a new coach and he's gonna play Buenos Aires. Thanks a lot. Really!
