Pennetta was exhausted after the end of the match yesterday and she thanked the Italian medical staff a few times for her miraculous recovery, so it looks like she has had a slight injury concern. Cornet started very slow against Schiavone and although she found her rhythm eventually and looked in control, Schiavone managed to take the match with her experience and some clutch plays. I'd probably make Cornet favourite in this one who has to reedeem herself in front of the home crowd.

This is some interesting handicaping, this one is better fav, this one is better dog, this one will choke, this one is due a win and other remotely relevant factors. Imo besides this BS there are relevant factors in analyzing this match:

1. How will Ancic feel after last nights marathon (can be both positive and negative)
2. Playing style. Neither player likes to rally all night long but one has to favor Cilic in this segment. Cilic likes to dictate with his serve and forhand while Ancic uses his serve to come to the net whenever possible, therefore the key factor in this match will be their serve. As we have seen this week Ancics 2nd delivery is there for the taking.

So clearly this match is Cilics to win plus the added bonus of possible bad effects of last nights exploits on Ancic.
