I'll be honest and say I am not a big fan of clay court tennis, yes long rallies can be fun, but more often than not they end up being push fests and the receivers are standing miles behind the baseline. I personally prefer aggressive tennis where the player takes the initiative early on, volleying and mixing it up etc. And I'll be even more honest and say I am not the biggest Nadal fan, and let's just say I wasn't happy to see Roger get beaten by him in each of those Monte Carlo finals. Just find it hard to love the tournament as a result I guess, but the place itself is beautiful no doubt.

As for my favourite tournaments there are many: Wimbledon, Halle, Basel, Miami, Dubai and Båstad (for its loveliness) are amongst the top ones in my list...and OK Hamburg too .

I can see how you wouldn't be very pro-clay.
I appreciate hard and grass tennis more too, of course, but I always find something about clay that I like.
It's just very gritty and comes down to endurance and fight, sometimes about that just impresses me. (Because I myself am a total quitter If I were playing tennis I would be just like Gilles; 30 aces per match, 8% 1st return )

I think Formalwear should be on a weekday, when we're all busy anyway and could use a little "all business" inspiration. How about Thursday, that's a good fashion day I think. *nods*

How about we make Saturday Trademark Sexiness Day? => The lipbite, the intense look, the (yellow) practice shirts, the sweat wipe and all other :drooooooooool: worty things we love in Roger.

Maybe he's been paying loads more attention to Mirka lately and the boys are angry.
You can't just pamper them and spend all your time in the locker room for years and then just up and go have a baby like that, it's disloyal. That's why they all now share tips&tricks on how to beat him in the locker-room, while he's off doing "and you know what else" with a GIRL!

That cost you your No1 ranking, Roger... See, Rafa learned from the Master; Feli, Nando, Pics, he's been practicing locally for his ranking, he knows what to do to stay on top. (*insert suggestive bottom joke here*)

you have it exactly right. there were the times when Andy wouldn't even have to ask for a cuddle, when Rafa wouldn't have to sell naked boat pictures to the press to get Roger to notice him, and these were the times when Rogi won more

the simple answer is that we need to lock them all up together for a while, and surprise surprise, Roger will win more slams.
