Default Zagreb R1: Karlovic beats Petzchner 6-3 6-4

Petzschner should consider retiring from tennis if he keeps on playing with this "I don't give a shit" attitude. The only point in which he was fighting was *5-4 30-30 2nd set and he netted easy forehand.

Besides the mistakes from Petzchner, Karlovic played pretty well.

Worth mentioning Petzchner was broken in his 1st service game each set.

No signs of this imo. He had a bad day and obviously tried to stay calm to find his rhythm. How can you say he didn't give a shit? I didn't see any point he tanked. If you feel bad on court, you look like Petzschner looked today.

Too bad he didn't find his game early enough. Maybe this early gift for Karlovic destroyed everything (2 DFs in the first service game).
Karlovic looked breakable 2-3 times in the second set, but Philipp just didn't show a complete good returning game today.

Petzsche didn't have a "I don't give a shit" attitude imo. That's how he is on a tennis court, he looks nonchalant, but it doesn't mean he isn't trying.

He's been having quite a few bad days early on in the season This is the time he should be doing well, as it will be tough for him to garner points during the clay season. I hope he gets it together soon.

Well, I didn't see the match or anything...but I still stand by what I said virtually the day after Petz's Vienna title win.

Karlovic played really well actually, a break at the start of both sets and it was done and dusted to be honest
