Goodes definitely a value play, just found out that he got the 3 votes in Canberra against the Dogs even though the Swans got belted by 50 odd points a couple of months ago. Got another BOG against Richmond last weekend as well and most likely got the 3 against the Saints the week before.

You talking this year with the Dogs?
How the hell would you know that? Do you know the AFL accountant who adds the votes up during the year?
Simon Black I agree is a smokey with his reputation!

Re: AFL 2009- Futures Bets
Sorry that is fantasy, Leon Davis? I deal with facts. FACTS are that Goodes polls very well in this award. He's achieved 20 votes or better the last three seasons and is statistically superior this year. I'm not just talking disposals but Champion Data, something the umps take into high consideration. He's won votes in losing games in the past. The Footy Classified guys are talking him up and I'm with them. If it's another 20-25 votes medal then he's in with a shot, depending on the next few weeks of course.

Brown!
Brisbane's last few opponents:
Bulldogs 2 - 5
Port Adelaide 2 - 5
Sydney 1 or 2 at the most
Don't know about Fevola!

At least 4 votes in the first two rounds looking at that link.
On Swan, I'm not yet convinced the umps will go for him. He picks up alot of easy kicks, also if you look at his polling last year, he had some games where he got over 30 possies and a goal or two and didn't get a vote.
It's not reputation BG, it's tangibles I believe, contested possesions, inside 50, impact stats. Also the umps are mindful that Sydney are a lower possession team.

Swan gets votes every year. He had like 20 last year and roughly the same amount the year before.

Can't remember but has he missed any games this season?

Cox usually dominates.

No actually he only polled 12 last year after his surprise 20 the year before. He ended up only tieing with Medhurst for highest Pie and I got rammed in some multi's.
