Federer would give anything to play against Verdasco in final...

I don't like I like 3-1. The way Verdasco is playing he can get a set off of Nadal. It wasn't as if Rafa blew Simon off the court in his last match. He had chances. I could see Fernando jumping on Nadal early and winning a close first set then that is when Rafa turns it up a couple of nothches and puts it away in the next 3.

I might just roll with Verdasco winning the first set at 3-1.

He said lay 3-0.. I laid a bit (small play) on 3-0 as well at 2-1 odds because Verdasco has fought well all week not to get broken at crucial times and I can see him taking at least a set (hopefully) as long as he doesnt bend over early to get *****

3-0 Nando could be the value at 30. The logic being that if he's gonna beat Rafa then, like Tsonga last year, he's gonna have to totally blow him off the court. If it's a tight match then Nadal most likely wins.

The lay 3-0 and Dasco +6.5 both look appealing to me right now.

Nando's wide serve in the ad court has been unplayable in this tournament. Although it'll be going into Nadal's fh here I think Rafa returns better off the bh wing and could struggle to deal with it as long as Dasco's balls stay big here.

Honestly, Federer has looked unbelievable almost infallible his last two matches. Nadal has looked very good but even he will be hard pressed to beat Federer if he makes the finals imo. Time will tell...

agree with first part of the post...either 3:0 for nando otherway Nadal wins


but cant agree with second part...Rafa hates righthanded wide serve to his BH wing..puts him often off the court...Nando will be forced to risk on his serve...not to make high percentage like he likes to do these days
and nadals rec with Leftys even before he was the 1 suggest hell feel confortable in this one(only 3 losses in his career)..i can imagine Nando having a picture of Nadals fistbump near to his bed..he will crumble IMO

Dasco will struggle with Nadal's topspin and he will be forced to get out of his comfort zone from the baseline. He's much less equipped than Simon in long rallies because he doesn't have the counterpunching range than Simon has. Against Tsonga he was able to generate power from Tsonga's relatively flat shots - and Tsonga could not volley as well as before in that one. I can't see what weapons Dasco can bring on the court other than a big fh and a relatively good serve which can break down under pressure. Not good enough against Nadal, I'm afraid. Nadal will be looking forward to a 3-0 win here, to get out of the court early and prepare against Federer who has had more time to rest.
