Not sure if leaving Calgary was a good idea from the Canucks. They used to be unbeatable there.

Frank takes it 6:4 6:4 7:5

He wasn't great down the stretch in the third set, but did well enough to get the win

Frank!

Now the more difficult task is to defeat big brother Lapentti on Sunday.

Yeah I think Gio is better on fast courts. The thing is Niemeyer is very bad now, I still see a 3-2 win for us.

It will be on clay so it will be very tough for us. Polansky must play for Canada to have any chance. We should win the doubles but they are the favorites in the singles. Dancevic really strugles on clay.

Who is Peru's second player. I like Canada's chances if Miranda is Peru's second player. That is assuming Polansky is healthy, he's a good clay courter.

Yeah, we'd definitely need Polansky, without him the question will be whether it's 1-4 or 0-5.

Is Horna injured or retired? He hasn't played any matches yet this year.

If he is not around, and Polansky is, we could definitely have a decent shot at taking two singles matches of Frank-Peter v. Echazu-Miranda (or whoever they use as their third player). If Horna is in and playing with any kind of form, it would take a minor miracle, I think.
