Australia: Del Potro, Nalbandian y Dabul ganaron, en tanto Calleri fue eliminado


Buenos Aires.- El argentino Juan Martín del Potro venció hoy al alemán Mischa Zverev (81) por 6-3, 6-4 y 6-2 y avanzó a la segunda ronda del Abierto de Australia, primer Grand Slam del año.

Del Potro, nuevo número seis del mundo, se impuso cómodamente en dos horas y 6 minutos de juego.
El tandilense se medirá en la siguiente instancia con el alemán Florian Mayer (450), quien derrotó en sets corridos al argelino Lamine Ouahab (193) por 6-2, 6-1 y 6-2.

Por su parte, el también argentino Brian Dabul (100) se impuso fácilmente ante el alemán Philipp Petzschner (63) por 6-1, 6-2 y 6-4 en una hora y cuarenta minutos.

Dabul, debutante en el torneo australiano, enfrentará en la segunda ronda al checo Tomas Berdych (21), quien viene de ganarle al estadounidense Robby Ginepri por 6-4, 6-4 y 6-3.

En cambio Agustín Calleri (66), que disputó ocho veces el torneo y nunca superó la

segunda fase, fue eliminado hoy en la primera ronda del abierto de tenis Australia al perder con el español Guillermo García López por 3-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 y 6-0.

Más tarde el cordobés David Nalbandian pasó a segunda ronda al vencer al francés Marc Gicquel por 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 y 6-3.
El argentino se medirá en segunda ronda con el taiwanés Yen Hsun Lu.
