The Green Green Grass of Home: Tournament Thread
Clay season is over and Viktor is moving onto grass court.
He is in both singles and doubles (with Djokovic) in Gerry Weber Open in Halle, Germany.

Re: The Green Green Grass of Home: Tournament Thread
tough draw - Kiefer, then possibly Melzer - but could win both if he can get his serve going. Should definately be more dangerous on the green stuff than the red....

Up a break but already but Kiefer is not at the top of his game. Needs to improve his bp conversion. No problem with his serve so far.

Re: The Green Green Grass of Home: Tournament Thread
Other than excellent serve by Kiefer, I really can't say much. Viktor is totally lost on the court there and I have no idea why.

Re: The Green Green Grass of Home: Tournament Thread
Match ended with Viktor's forehand into the net. *sigh*
He left the court immediately, without even putting his racket into his bag.

Good luck to Viktor this grass season! I expect a strong showing from him at Wimbledon!

If he finds his serve, which is MIA for sometimes.
