Re: Qatar ExxonMobil Open
David has gotten two wins already, but in the last match someone that saw it said David seemed pale and was sweating a lot! I do hope he isn't ill

Re: Qatar ExxonMobil Open
Yeah... Well, it's only Doha, and Davydenko played some truly amazing tennis. Ferru looked rather uninspired, but maybe it was mostly because Davydenko's tennis was so deadly on that surface.
I hope he doesn't lose confidence because of this. He flattened Berdych and beat Tipsy easily to start the season in Abu Dhabi. Better to think about these two matches, and not about the Djokovic/Davydenko ones.
I think maybe Ferru needs to work more on how to play well at the beginning of a match. On clay he often looks like he can play at a very high level from the beginning, but on faster courts, it often takes him a while to get going. Against someone like Dustin Brown, he can afford to drop a set, but when the player opposite is really good and efficient, he wakes up too late.

Oh, poor David! I hope he wasn't sick, as someone thought he might have been.

Re: Qatar ExxonMobil Open
I'm pretty sure he wasn't sick. He didn't look sick at all to me. Davydenko was just way better than Ferru yesterday.
