Re: Christian Harrison
Disappointing loss in his first SF, but nonetheless a great week for Christian. Keep it up

Re: Christian Harrison
If they both do well, it could get interesting later on with 2 Harrisons! I wonder what the odds were on that happening

Re: Christian Harrison
The semifinal bumps him up 365 spots to 939 in the rankings. Good result for him.

My brother threw is iPhone when I lost a point and broke it the other night! Is that crazy or is it a sign of a good brother? Or maybe both

he is definitely Ryan's little brother.

Re: Christian Harrison
I have a question to those who had a chance to watch Christian live.
I read an interview from his dad several years ago comparing his game to Ryan's. He said something along the line of Ryan likes to come forward to finish off points, while Christian is happy hitting winners from the baseline (not surprising since his groundies seem much more fluid than his older sibling). Even though Ryan supposedly likes to come forward, he seems content behind the baseline. If that is the case, was wondering if Christian even comes to the net at all?

Christian will play Mark Verryth (AUS) in the first round of Oklahoma City future. Good luck in your first tournament of the year .

Re: Christian Harrison
He lost 46 62 16. Good effort against the big fella and great to have him back. Hopefully, better showing next week.

Re: Christian Harrison
I really hope Christian can get it together. The 1993 and 1994 birth years are looking pretty weak at the moment. Guys like Halebian and Fratangelo haven't developed the way one might have expected.

I was thinking the same thought a while ago. Sadly, I'm already looking forward to the 1995 juniors .

If Harrison can stay on the court for more than three months at a time, maybe we'll see some improvement. I'm not holding my breath.
I find myself looking ahead to the 1997-1998 class of Wiersholm, Kozlov, Tiafoe, and Mmoh. It's always easier to be optimistic about the young kids, but when was the last time we had a group as strong as that one at the same age? They seem to project well to higher levels of junior tennis, too. I used to have doubts about Kozlov with his style of play, but you can't ignore his accomplishments and the effusive praise from his opponents.
Of course, I used to have high hopes for the 1991 class (Williams, Buchanan, Domijan, and Britton) and the 1994 class (mainly Harrison and Halebian). Now? Not so much. Sandgren is making just a bit of noise, I suppose.
Hey, at least the 1992s are strong! Harrison, Kudla, Sock, Kosakowski, and Frank is a great group.
