What a heartbreaking result!

Re: Time for a fresh start! The Aussie 2009 tournaments thread
Hmmmmm, always a dramatic start to the year for Paulo
I tried to follow the SB on my iTouch, but had to stop after the forth set since the librarian said I and a few friends were too "animated"! (And I believe she intentionally turned off the WIFI signal afterward ) Oh well, Delic must have improved his serve along the way and when it got to the fifth, holding the serving-first advantage... I sort of starting my coping mechanism to this unfortunate event
Too bad indeed, but not the end of the world. Plus, Loic still has a lot to learn! The year's just started so there'll be plenty more occasions to vamos (It's too hot over there anyway!! )
Take care of him, Nico

Re: Time for a fresh start! The Aussie 2009 tournaments thread
Sad ending to singles for him I saw parts of the end of the match on TV...him playing on a "small" court, the bad camera angles which made it difficult to watch (I can't complain too much about that since it's not actually a TV court anyway) and the loud fans all made it even more unbearable. Watching the scoreboard was tough enough on my nerves, in a way I didn't even want them to switch over to it on TV.
I've convinced myself that he is there for doubles anyway Allez/Vamos boys

Re: Time for a fresh start! The Aussie 2009 tournaments thread
Sad to think I'm not ready to erase my signature
Paulo was disguted and angry n press conference about the crowd, or more exactly about the bosniac supporters, who were just pathetic during the match.
yahoo:

Re: Time for a fresh start! The Aussie 2009 tournaments thread
Paulo and Nico lost their doubles 6-3 6-2. (Still the best doubles team ever anyway ).
Anyway forget Australia, Paulo, what's for you will not go by you. I'm sure there is going to be plenty to smile about for Paulo this season, yet.

Re: Time for a fresh start! The Aussie 2009 tournaments thread
I'm actually kind of glad now that I was too busy to watch much of the AO and missed this match.
Nothing much to say really - Paulo should have won, he didn't, that's tennis and it's unfair sometimes. He needs to just forget it and move on. Vamos, etc (sighs)
