Hope he goes just as well against Querrey as Hewitt did last week.
Yeah, good win. First top 100 win since October.

Wow it's been that long much need win.

Interesting to note Marinko beat Jack Sock last week pretty easily. Then this week Sock beat Milos Raonic.

I give him a chance against Querrey, infact I'm going to tip him for an upset in a close three setter. 4-6 7-5 6-4

Marinko did cause the upset and my score line wasn't far off with him winning 3-6 6-4 7-5, well done mate. He will play Dolgopolov in the QF's.

Great stuff Marinko. Needs a strong performance here. He is defending final points in Delray Beach next week and he won't be seeded there.

Yeah - Marinko gets up against Dolgopolov and into the semis. Served well, especially in the third set. Great to watch him play, on Fox 8 ESPN - should be on again tomorrow.
Dolgie tanked the 2nd set once Marinko had broken him twice and led 3-0. And then had two game points in the 1st game of the 3rd set before Marinko levelled and then broke him, and then shut Dolgie out with some superb serving. Go Marinko...

Matosevic lost his semi final to Nishikori 4/6 and then retired. I dont have foxtel so didn't watch it but I would be very interested to know what happened to him and whether he will be fit enough to face Soeda in the first round at Delray Beach where he has those final points to defend from last year.

Marinko needs to toughen up - retired because of blisters?!?
He should have had his feet taped before the match if he was having problems.
It was not like he had cramp or a muscle problem.
Playing indors with short points, he should have toughed it out, crunched the ball and gone for it. It was a semi-final of an ATP event, not a minor match or first round.

It was a bit worse than Blisters!
He has bruised bones in his foot, the blisters are the least of his worries....
He has been trying to manage this since January....hopefully he can play a smart schedule and get it under control...

Marinko has once again become Australia's top ranked player getting to a career high ranking of 39, he will lose 150 this week of those 180 points he gained last week if he doesn't get passed the first round.

If Mato is over his foot problems I can see him knocking over Isner if they both advance to the second round, I did not see any video footage of any matches last week but I'm confident he can knock over Isner at his best or even close to it the way he played last week by just seeing his results.

Carn Marinko top 30 by the end of the year is possible...
