He's in and plays Llodra first round. He and Lindahl seem to be pushing each other along.
Two non-TA players showing how you can progress AFTER you reach the age of 20.
I'm doubly glad of their success knowing their non-TA. Llodra is one of the most unpredictable guys on tour. He's already lost 6-2 6-0 to Harel Levy (ranked 119) is Brisbane and won Marseille this season. Virtually all Llodra's points are from his home country of France so I think MM is a decent chance of getting his first tour win here.

he saved 3 match points in his first round win over marchenko and he saved 5 against young.go Marinko.Lindahl and him seem to be doing well without any help.surely these guys need a sponsor i hear their coach marc kimmich is not wiht them imgaine they had a coach all the time.i hope some one i sreading this and can sponsor them.i have seen them play i think they will both make top this year if they stay helathy.so if nayone is reading this with some money lets invest in them.
What started the turnaround from Marinko he was down 2-3 first set all of a sudden he won it 6-3, then to top it all off he won the next set 6-0. He won 10 straight games, he'll next play the ninth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. But after all of that he will atleast be back into the top 200. What is happening with him a couple weeks ago he lost to Lindahl 6-1 6-1 something like that and now he flogs a top 70 player, all i can say is well done mate and good luck.
I watched this match on Fox Sports with the Sky UK commentary. They weren't too impressed with Marinko's game, and fair enough too, cos we was not playing great.
He obviously has the power to compete at a higher level, but his movement and consistency are a weakness.
the funniest thing was hearing the commentators say that TA had been copping flak recently and a good performance by a young Aussie would vindicate them! Obviously they didn't know Matosevic gets no help whatsoever from TA and a good performance from him actually makes them look worse !!
He needs a few wins next week at Challenger level to back this up.
