I liked that second break point he saved with the slice backhand, then the forehand down-the-line. It was very Murray-like.

Yes, his forehand crosscourt return of serve in particular was great. Forehand down-the-line won him a lot of points too especially later in the match.

And it was overall quite stable too. Not as many wild errors as usual.
