I agree that Roddick can beat anything that Spain has to offer on clay but I dont feel USA's number 2 singles player can - whoever he may be.

Yes I think Spain will beat USA in the final. I don't think Roddick is the favourite against any of the top Spanish players on clay. He might fight down one of them in five sets on the first day, but then he'll be washed up for his next tie. The Spaniards can just bring on someone fresh. I wonder if PMac will stick with the Fish in a final away vs. Spain? Or will he bring on Spadea? And isn't one of the Bryans playing injured?

I see, Bilbo, the ***do is at it again
What the fuck are you talking about. If USA plays Spain, they have NO CHANCE IN HELL!! Their play doesnt matter. When Moya barely loses to Roddick on HARD, why do you think he has a chance against Moya or JC on clay. If Roddick is lucky, he might win more than 3 games in a single set. The Byrans will likely win their doubles match, but thats the only match USA will win. Fish is even worse on clay than Roddick, so forget about him.

The only semi descent player USA has on clay is Spadea, but he stands no chance, regardless, I doubt they'll use him anyway. Spain will win this series 4-1

it takes a lot to beat both JC and moya on clay, can roddick beat them on clay? NO WAY!!! i would love to see JC kick roddick's ass, then JC will get a big boost of confidence and next year JC is back in action and will win all 4 grand slams (mabye thats just wishful thinking but who knows)

All 4?? No slams for Federer? I think if he's healthy and confident, he will win atleast one.

Spain should win the tie ag France... and then will be quite funny to see Roddick, Fish, Dent and Cia. being thrashed on clay, perhaps losing any possible set
Bryan Twins could win its rubber although even for them would be hard.

yeah, andy *might* be able to beat one of them on clay, but thats unlikely, and as mardy will probably be the number two singles, USA has pretty much no hope.

Well, JC has a chance, and will likely win 3 of the slams in his career, but Wimbledon will be tough.
