well jackets with a bit of momentum after getting at least a point after trailing 0-3 with 20 mins to play in their last match vs. ny islanders ... the jackets lost their last 3 games @ home, but lets face their opponents: rangers (1st eastern conference), ducks (when in mood top3 western conference) and the lately hot blackhawks won @ columbus in a shootout despite being outshoot by the blue jackets 51-24
, the jackets biggest problem is their non-clicking pp, just 3 pp in their last 8 games ...
the oilers may help out of this misery, as they allowed 3 goals in their last game with an edmontonplayer in the penaltybox
to sum it up, the blue jackets just more hungry for a win after losing to games they should have won and they beat much better sides than the oilers @ home (canucks, predators) while the oilers are in the middle of a 7game-roadtrip

brodeur out for several games - so kevin weekes in goal for the devils - he lost his first game after brodeurs injury 0-2 vs. the sabres, but stopped 28 of the 30 shots he faced (0.933) - not that bad. in fact whenever a team is playing with the backup they tend to play with much more concentration in their defense than they do knowing their stargoaltender is good enough to win the game for them ...
the bolts finally find some ways to win matches - there defense is much better than the last season - averaging 2.00 goals against on the road ...
