Here we are, with one of the best match ups in tennis. I hope for a great play from both of them.

Re: David enters the land of Lindt. Can he tune his game to Swiss precision in Basel?
David lost the first set 3-6. He is not playing bad, 1st serve strugling a bit, but Federer is just firing from all the weapons and he is playing his best in 2008(even close to his all time best ).

Roger is not serving the lights out either, but he's nailing those groundies. He's just too solid right now.

The only differences are those two DF's that David committed in the sixth game of the opening set and the fact that Roger is protecting his serve well.

Re: David enters the land of Lindt. Can he tune his game to Swiss precision in Basel?
I had a lot of trouble trying to watch it in the first half of the set, with the live streams, although it looked like the early part of the match was more entertaining. Federer was playing very aggressively, similar to how he played in 2006. Once he got the break, he eased off a bit towards the end though. David didn't play badly at all, so hard to be disappointed about it and hopefully he will have a good tournament in Paris.

Federer played amazingly, his serve was just unbelievable, definitely his best match of the week. I also felt that David was a bit tired, he didn't play that bad though...reaching the final is not bad after all good week for David
Better luck next week
