Default Help Please plz reply

I'm hitting the ball very cleanly it's 4-0 to me I'm serving, everything goes smoothly until 15 minutes later you get broken twice and it's 4-3. I mean what is it????? I serve great hit cleanly all onto this point, and choke doesn't mean I didn't win the set but it is very fustrating.

ANY TIPS OR ADVICE WOULD BE SO HELPFUL plz reply

Funny Story......

I was playing my best friend who I have never gotten a set off of in 5 years. I was up 1-0 then 3-0 then finally 5-0 i ended up losing the set 5-7 In 5 years that was my best attempt.

What happened is what Brag Gilbert calls the Happy camper- Angry Bear syndrome(Go out and buy the book winning ugly b.g. u rock!). I was fine with being up by that much that i just settled in and got comfortable.

If you want to win when you are ahead you have to keep pressuring your opponent until you win the set then the match.

scorelines are full of sh!te... its still the same furry yellow thing you hit in practice... therefore... every match should be practice... some wanker put a scoreline and a set of lines on a court to f*** with everyone...

placing emphasis on a win or a loss is ego getting in the way when all you really wanna do is improve... right...?

for a long time i analysed tennis matches way too much, when, i found that... the childlike approach i once had was the way forward... the most simple, basic enjoyment of feeling the tennis ball on the strings... once you win that test with yourself, you will be able to enjoy the test that someone else places in front of you knowing that you were free to play as good as you were able to at that particular moment...

get free... get free enough to play and enjoy each ball on its merits regardless...

i went backwards to go forwards...

it doesnt get to much more complicated than that...

Yeah but B.G. says that playing is fun and winning is more fun than losing.
