Well done to David for making short work of Jakke and reaching his 3rd final of the season. It would be a nice milestone if he could reach double digits in titles won in his career. He'll need to beat Soderling if he wants to win title no. 9 tomorrow. Like David, the Toad loves playing indoors, and he massacred Nishikori 6-1 6-0 in the second SF. David leads the h2h 4-1 although of course the Toad stretched him to the limit at Parque Roca in April.

Well, that's it. Looks like there will be no more easy opponents till the end of the year. Let's see how he will cope with that and if he can bring his best.

David is leading 6-2 *0-1 in the final. He has been playing well so far and recovered from 15-40 down in his opening service game to win 16 consecutive points on serve in the first set which was nice.

David is playing impressively right now. 6 aces and 0 no DF's, contrasted with Robin's 7 aces and 5 DF's. I think that's been key.
Oh....David now has 7 aces, the last two coming on this current service game.
