Default Baseball Playoffs Thread

As soon as the lines come out, and the series prices are out. I will more than likely be going large on the Cubs to win there series. The Cubs are going to make it to the WS no question. I am hoping for atleast odds off 1.40+ for them. I'd rather back the series bets than backing each game.

Cubs should win this series but the Dodgers were one of the hottest teams down the stretch.

So the baseball playoffs start tonight and I we will make my picks.

Dodgers +147 at Chicago

I love this price considering Lowe has been one of the hottest pitchers in the league over the last two months and he is no stranger to pressure and the playoffs. He has pitched well vs the Cubs this year so why not take a chance on him considering the price.

Phillies -195 vs Milwaukee

This price is steep but Hamels is on the hill and he is the ace of their staff. I don't know much about Gallardo but as long as his name is not Sabathia, I am going against him. How that for logic? Okay, seriously the Brewers have struggled all year on the road and if it comes down to the battle of the bullpens we all know who has the edge

Good luck everyone!!

Breaking Down the Phillies v Brewers Game 1.

Gallardo last pitched vs the Phillies on August 2007, Gallardo allowed one run and four hits in 6 2/3 innings. If the Brewers are to have a chance to win here, it will be because of Gallardo keeping the Phillies at bay. Bullpen is a joke, so there lies the problem for the Brewers. Bullpen is red flagged and is a big concern. Phillies have dominated them, and the Brewers have battered a poor .206 vs the Phillies this season. Just look at these numbers, Rollins hit .538 against Milwaukee. Victorino batted .500, Utley .476. Hamels is a pure stud, and you can expect a tough start by the ace. This won't be an easy task for the Brewers.

Brewers Team Total Under 3.5

It would be even more amazing if both make it to the World Series. I wouldn't mind a prop bet, for a Chicago team to make the playoffs. I think the Cubs will.

Very good start. Am thinking of backing Cubs now to win the Series. Should be a better price.

Thanks Man. If you still like the Cubs, now is the time to back them.
