Jason is playing in the North Shore Open which is a Gold AMT Tournament on synthetic grass. His first match isn't until Friday and if the draw goes according to rankings he will face Robin Pfister in the second round, Simon Ede in the Quarters and Dane Propoggia in the semis. The top half contains players such as Feeney, Andrijic, Lindahl and Wagland. He will also play doubles with Jordan Thompson.

He is into the final where he will play Adam Feeney. He defeated Propoggia 7-6 7-5 in the semis, Ede 6-4 7-5 in the Quarters and Pfister 6-1 6-0 in the second round.

I guess he did what was expected of him. He isn't entered for the Qualifying at the Australian Open so based on that it looks like he won't be playing as he would have had a chance of getting into the Qualies draw without a WC.

i think i saw him on an entry list for a futures tournament in the USA either the week before the Aus Open or while it's on... so he might be doing something similar to what he did at the start of this year with some events over there
