I hope Marat will win his 1st round because I want a Gael-Marat match.
Last year, if I remember well, Marat said Gael should be able to be in the top 10 soon

Yes, now that you're mentioning it, there have been some funny statements of Marat about Gaël, I had forgotten about that! I think Marat was wondering after a training session why the hell Gaël is still ranked so low. And after another training session he was completely mad at Gaël for wasting other people's time playing rubbish tennis.
I hope they get to play each other, it would be a funny match for Bercy. Allez Marat, please.

He'll play doubles with Gilles again (on ne rit pas!), they'll play against Damm-Stepanek in the 1st round.

(You're not going to Bercy by any chance, Amdany, so you can take a pic of "my" team? Of course you'd need to be there for the 1st round already - and to be quick because their matches don't last long.)

Sorry for the wrong information, it was Gilles on Stade 2 instead of Gaël.

They're playing in doubles tomorrow already.

A "Chat" with Gael on Bercy website after his double match

Quote:

A "Françoise" quoting an article about Gilles Simon, that was too easy, I'll use a pseudo tonight to make it a bit more complicated.

Yes, Marat woke up a tad too late!!

Oh well, Pico is a nice guy too.
And Gaël has a revenge to take, Pico leads 2-1 in the h2h (but they've only played on clay):
2005 Sopot 16 Clay (O) G.MONFILS 4-6 6-7(5)
2007 Estoril 32 Clay (O) J.MONACO 7-5 1-6 6-2
2007 Portschach FR Clay (O) J.MONACO 7-6(3) 6-3

An interview of Gaël on lequipe.fr ("It's just the beginning"):
Quote:
