Concerning the other S/F , i dont normally like backing jankovic this year but i read some stuff she said about the olympics and how she was carrying an injury, this could explain the powder puff performance against safina at the olympics, i was very dissapointed in her that day, she should of won that match.
She is now injury free and is playing a player in dementieva who she leads 4-3 in the h2h and seems to like playing. Dementieva has had somewhat of a piss walk draw to the S/F whereas jankovic has slayed some very tricky opponents in wozniaki, zheng and even arvidson. I feel the time has finally come for jankovic to make her 1st grand slam final, a fully fit jelena jankovic is one hell of a talent and she can put demento to the sword today, its gonna be tough and will probs go 3 sets but im taking the owl.
I have a big thing for dementieva, shes one of the best baseliners in the world and the serve is stronger now but i just feel its gonna be jankovics day.
