richard lost his first match against feliciano lopez 2-6 6-2 6-7
he said that he was tired and didnt play since his finale on sunday.
Hope he will get some rest before roland garros.

Article in "Le Parisien" today: Richard supports Paris's canditatu re for OG 2012.
"Qui n'a pas envie de voir les Jeux Olympiques à Paris ? Ce serait fabuleux, réagit Richard Gasquet. J'aurai 26 ans à l'été 2012 et j'espère être encore en pleine forme à ce moment là pour y prendre part. J'ai pas mal suivi les JO d'Athènes, le tennis surtout. Gagner une médaille olympique ça doit être super".
Même son de cloche chez Paul Henri Mathieu: "Ce serait formidable, dit PHM. Je ne connais aucun sportif qui ne serait pas content. J'espère poirvoir aussi le disputer. J'espère que l'on pourra faire une petite fête le 6 juillet au soir".

Thanks (and even bigger thanks for the translation/summary). New York is also a canidate for the 2012 Olympics and I don't want it here at all. NYC is already too big and there's too much things going on (terror etc.) I really hope Paris does get it! 
Aww, Richard lost  but its quite alright, he's tried and he needs his rest. Is there a site for the exibition or photos?

I'm taking French next year in my senior year. I took Spanish for my first three, and I had an extra course space so I decided for French I. Hopefully by this time next year I will be able to know something. lol
